The British Society organises events with a British flavour. A very social club, we’re open to people of every nationality who are English speakers looking to meet new friends, play sports and socialise. BritSoc as the society is known is a pro-active and multi-cultural organisation which is run by its members for its members.

We are a social club for international women living in and around Eindhoven. Some of our members have just moved here, and others have lived in the Netherlands for decades. Women join the IWCE for a variety of reasons: to make new friends, to feel less alone in a new place, to practice English (and Dutch!) and to enjoy a sense of community.

We’ve been sharing stories and music for Amsterdam since 2014. In 2018 we started building an independent, streaming radio station for Amsterdam, in English, and we are already broadcasting to thousands of listeners per month. We have live radio shows most days, all shows available On Demand, and a range of talk-only podcasts on a range of Amsterdam themes.

easylaughs is an improv comedy group based in Amsterdam. easylaughs offers comedy shows, improv and stand up classes and improv workshops, in English. We have been performing improv in Amsterdam since 2005.

The ICN was set up to support the objective of allowing the growing number of Irish people settling in the Netherlands to maintain contact with each other and to provide support for sporting and cultural activities. Boom Chicago introduced improvisation theater to the Netherlands and 30 plus years later, it has grown into the influential and innovative international theater company it is today. Their current complex on the Rozengracht has three theaters with 500 seats, and a creative hub in their multi-level cafe-bar under the original stained glass windows.
